I shared a rich, decade-long life journey with a wonderful partner. When that relationship came to completion – and taught me so much about endings, beginnings, and all the possible metamorphoses of relationship – I transitioned into a whole new phase of life.

Among other things, this also meant dating in New York City.

It’s been a tapestry of experiences pointing towards, ultimately, more self awareness, intentionality, and authenticity. Do you know your attachment style, by the way? How do you mindfully work with that?

For a moment, I was vibrantly inspired to paint portraits based on dating app profiles. The names and details have been changed and remixed. The search for connection is real. And you can truly only meet another to the extent you’ve met yourself.
